Some birthdays are just more special than others, and this one for Nicholas was extraordinary. As a baby Nicholas had cancer and this party was his 5 years free from the disease. This was a celebration the family had been waiting for and what a day it was! Filled with smiles, toasts, tears of joy and incredible fun!
EFD Creative is known for putting together weddings, but we take on any occasion that holds special meaning…this was truly a memorable day for our team!

Bliss Celebrations Guide Party
EFD Creative was honored to be asked by Bliss Celebrations Magazine to help with the planning and design of their holiday party at the Exchange Conference Center.
We were looking to develop a soft wintery scene, along with the creative talent of Tangerine Creations, birch trees, moss, twinkle lights in the branches and hanging from the ceiling, helped create the mystical feel. Add in the white textured fabric, special touches of snowflake name badges collaborated by Table Artistry and Megan Chapin Calligraphy and the look was complete.

Jackie & Carolyn’s Wedding at Hamilton Hall
Jackie and Carolyn were thrilled to be engaged, but they lived in Atlanta, Georgia where same-sex marriage is not legal. The couple immediately thought of Massachusetts, which not only recognizes same-sex marriages, it is where Carolyn attended college at Boston University, and where they both had personal ties – making it the perfect destination wedding! They wanted a venue that had elegance as well as a historical feel to match the region. What could be more perfect than Hamilton Hall in historic Salem, Mass?

When I got the call from Melissa Mermin that she wanted to interview me for her “Ask the Expert” column I was thrilled! We meet at my Newbury Street office in Boston. We talked, took photos and enjoyed a walk around the neighborhood.
Keynote Presentation about Wedding Design & Branding
Recently I was asked to be the keynote speaker at the Association of Bridal Consultants state meeting to discuss wedding branding. This was a great opportunity for me to talk about a subject I love and an emerging trend in the industry with my peers.
