Kara and Tyler met at college in Boston, so it was important to have their wedding held in the city where they fell in love. With guests coming from all over the country, the couple knew their wedding needed to showcase the beauty of Boston and what made it so meaningful to them. The Boston Harbor Hotel was the perfect venue for their June wedding, it encompassed everything they were looking for with views of both the harbor and the city along with excellent service, all while being in the heart of Boston.

The design process began by focusing on the Boston Public Gardens where Tyler proposed to Kara. This was integral to sharing their story. The garden’s iconic bridge and swan boats became important design elements of the invitations and place cards. The invitations also included an illustrated map of key locations in Boston that were special to the couple – tying it all together.

The navy and coral colors provided a stunning look – with the pop of color that lit up the room. And to showcase the beauty of the Boston skyline as the sun set on the city, special lights were installed to illuminate the changing shades of the sunset – adding a touch of drama and surprising views. The fabric tied on each chair created a clean, crisp visual and the navy linens anchored the whole look together.

Everything rolled out beautifully on a glorious summer day, creating a memorable and uniquely special experience for the couple and their family and friends.
