Megan and Scott we so excited to finally be tying the knot at the Longfellow’s Wayside Inn. This venue has so much history, being the oldest working Inn in the country. Megan had many memories associated to this beautiful old country style location.
Megan and Scott had their ceremony in the Martha Mary Chapel, the very same building that Henry Ford (the automotive entrepreneur) built as a tribute to his mother and mother-in-law. This very same chapel was the backdrop for multiple Hollywood movies such as Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, Bride Wars and The Invention of Lying. There is something very magical about this location.
After the ceremony the bride and groom were transported by a horse and surrey to the reception, where the festivities were held in the main dining room. The old world charm of the building lends itself to the rustic feel the couple was striving for. This could not have been a more perfect location for any couple looking to enjoy the true feel of historic New England.
