From the Bride ~
Tupper Manor provided an intimate backdrop for our mid-summer wedding. It’s a beautiful estate with a sprawling grass lawn on one side and a private beach on the other. That’s where I had my first look with Chris my fiancé and I knew we found our venue. With the help of EFD Creative, we had planned a romantic Gatsby-inpsired wedding based on elements from my vintage gown. Lush wild flowers combined with the tradition of this New England seaside town offered the perfect venue for our families to come together.
I had wanted an intimate experience with family and friends. It was really important because I wanted my step-children to feel a part of the wedding, and to know this was their family too. I also wanted things to feel romantic, and the flowers, the table settings, the monogram, invitation, menu and signature drink sign that incorporated the linen pattern, the gorgeous chuppah on the lawn — it all came together so perfectly. And even though the wedding was on the large side, it didn’t feel that way.
I also wanted to incorporate my Jewish background and traditions – but I wanted it to feel natural and inclusive of Chris and the kids. I loved how it all came together under the chuppah – with the purple flowers above. It was the perfect setting for uniting the family together.
